Commentary
AR solid state pre-main amplifier.
The mode selector has a unique function called NULL, which allows you to quickly and accurately balance the left and right of your stereo with a monaural input signal.
Set the selector to NULL, input a monaural signal, turn the balance knob to minimize the sound from the speakers, and set the selector to stereo for the best stereo balance.
The input circuit, control, and selector functions are reduced to the minimum necessary number of five knobs.
The Phono jack is equipped with a level controller that adjusts the input level.
The test report in the February 1968 issue of High Fidelity magazine said, "The test results far exceeded the characteristics of the AR announcement," and it received a good reputation.
There was a wood case sold separately.
