Commentary
A 2-way floor type speaker system that uses a Tangerine driver.
There are early and late variations of Model19, and is a difference in the unit used.
A 38 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The Model19 uses 416-8B for the first period and 416-8Z for the second period. The woofer is also equipped with bent tuning to enhance the sound.
A horn-type unit combining 802 to 8 g and 811B is installed in the high range.
The Altec original Tangerine phase plug is adopted in the driver unit 802-8G, and excellent high frequency characteristics and wide range are ensured.
The network was redesigned for the Model19 and is designed to control the mid and high bands separately.
The cabinet uses a bass reflex system.
